Once monthly, usually the first Thursday of each month, the Montana Farm & Ranch Brokers meet to network, hear presentations on topics relative to the rural Montana land market, and to share their new listings as well as to discuss properties they are looking for on behalf of buyers. The group is made up of land brokers, agents, and other rural real estate professionals. Non-members are welcome to attend.
Our presenters for this month's meeting will be Jim Wallander and Rachel Sitzman Bonner from First Financial Equity Corporation and Bonner Wealth Management Group. They will speak about retirement and investments, and a program for life insurance that uses farm/ranch equity to fund a policy rather than premium financing that many landowners are currently using for estate planning. Also, they will discuss some alternative 1031 options for retiring/diversifying landowners.
First Financial Equity Corporation will be providing breakfast items for the group.
