This Privacy Policy explains how Montana Land Source LLC (“Montana Land Source,” “MTLS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our websites, web applications, subscription services, property information services, email newsletters, communications, and related online services (collectively, the “Services”).
Montana Land Source provides rural land market information, property listing information, land sales information, maps, market reports, and related data services. Much of the land, parcel, listing, sales, brokerage, and market information displayed through the Services may come from public records, public websites, broker-published information, listing sources, third-party data sources, or other market sources. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect from users, customers, subscribers, website visitors, email recipients, and business contacts. It does not make private or confidential any information that is lawfully obtained from public records, public sources, broker publications, or other publicly available land market sources.

We may collect information you provide when you create an account, purchase a subscription, contact us, request information, subscribe to email communications, advertise property or brokerage content, submit forms, or otherwise communicate with us. This may include:

Account and subscription information
If you create an account or subscribe to paid services, we may collect information necessary to manage your account, provide access to subscription features, process renewals, communicate about your subscription, and maintain business records.
Payment information
We use third-party payment processors to process payments. We do not intend to store full credit card numbers or full payment card details on our own systems. Payment information is provided directly to our payment processor and is handled according to that processor’s privacy and security practices.
Our current payment processor is expected to be Stripe for the new website. If legacy payment records or older transactions were processed through another provider, such as Authorize.net, those records may be retained as needed for accounting, tax, legal, customer service, or business purposes.
Website, device, and usage information
When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as:

We do not sell personal information for money.

At this time, Montana Land Source does not intend to use personal information for automated profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning users.

The Services may link to third-party websites, listing pages, brokerage websites, payment processors, video platforms, social media platforms, map services, or other external services. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party websites or services. We may maintain pages or accounts on social media platforms and may embed or link to content from third-party platforms, such as videos, maps, or social media content. Your interactions with those platforms are governed by the privacy policies and terms of the applicable third-party platforms.

The Services are operated from the United States and are primarily intended for users in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
