This is a brief video summary of the weekly Montana Land Report from Montana Land Source for the week of 1/13/2021. "Hi, Andy Rahn here with Montana Land Source with this week's video summary of the Montana Land Report for January 13, 2021.

We had 22 property updates in the Montana land market this week:
• 2 properties back on the market
• 5 new listings
• 4 pending sales
• 3 price changes
• 2 revised listings, and
• 6 solds

So quite a mix of everything this week. Most of the properties were on the smaller side, with the exception of the Berry Creek Ranch in Stillwater County, which was one of the solds.

One of the new listings this week is an online auction in north central Montana. Musser Brothers is running that auction, it is a bankruptcy ordered auction of 320 irrigated acres in Blaine County. That is an absolute auction with no reserve. The online platform for taking bids will be up soon, and that auction ends March 1st. You can find information on that on https://mtlandsource.com.

In other news, if you'd like to check out a nice video, the Montana Business Vlog invited me to be a guest on their vlog. It's an in-depth hour or so interview with me and Joel Silverman of Silverman Law, outlining my path from rural land appraiser to creating Montana Land Source. So if you're interested in our back story, check that out. Their other video vlogs of other entrepreneurs in Montana is very interesting as well.

The 14th episode of the Ranch Investors podcast has been released. We featured Jess Peterson. A very good podcast, mostly outlining opportunities for collaboration with neighbors and various programs in Montana, and how to be a good neighbor and how to maximize land value and opportunities and land ownership through collaboration.

And finally, you'll notice a change in the Montana Land Report this week. For the whole time that we've been putting out the Montana Land Report, and that Montana Land Source has been out there, we've always used map images for the thumbnails for properties on the Land Report in Montana Land Source. This week for the first time we've changed that up to use actual pictures of properties. We always used map images because that's how we started out. Montana Land Source from the beginning was a map application, that was our main thing, we're map guys and we're very proud of the maps. But it's nice to use images, I think it looks great and gives a different perspective and gives more insight and information about properties. So check that out and let us know what you think.

Thanks for watching. Please follow us, please like and share wherever you see our content. We appreciate it and we will see you next week."
