The Seminar Group will be presenting a seminar on Real Estate & Land Use Law in Montana in Missoula, MT in March 2021 for land use & real estate professionals. Much of the agenda is oriented around urban land use and planning issues, but there is also content relevant to rural land issues such as conservation easements, water rights, tax law updates including opportunity zones, and land use law updates. Continuing education credits are available for attorneys, planners, and real estate brokers and agents.
The seminar will present the various legal and regulatory mechanisms used to plan and regulate growth, real estate development, and other impacts from changes in the use of private property. The program includes both a broad overview for general knowledge and more detailed information on specific topics, such as zoning, annexation, environmental issues, and working with regulators.
