"Hi everyone. Andy Rahn from Montana Land Source with a summary of this week's Montana Land Report for the week of July 29th, 2020.
Another busy week in the land market, we have a total of thirty property updates this week. I had multiple conversations this week with land brokers across the state, and land brokers are reporting being as busy just about as they ever have, so lots of activity, lots of busyness.
• We have two properties back on the market,
• Eight new listings,
• Seven pending sales,
• Eight price changes, two of those eight were price increases and six of the eight were price decreases, and
• Five sold properties
In news we have blog posts about the large conservation easements taking place in western Montana, as well as the land swap proposal for the Crazy Mountains and the Madison Range up by Big Sky.
In land related events, there are two meetings yet upcoming on the land swap in the Crazies and in the Madison Range; one in Bozeman and one in Big Sky. Those are on our events for Montana Land Source. And next week the Billings Farm and Ranch Brokers meeting we are having a staffer liaison from Steve Daines’s office talk to us about issues related to agriculture and the land market. That's next week and that event is on Montana Land Source.
Thank you everybody for your support, and we will see you next week."
