"Hi everyone. Andy Rahn here with Montana Land Source with this week's video summary of the Montana Land Report for February 24th, 2021.
Another busy week in the Montana land market:
27 total property updates in the past week:
• 3 properties back on the market
• 5 new listings
• 5 pending sales
• 5 price changes, and
• 9 solds
All within the past week. Check out the Montana Land Report for details on those properties.
In news, next week on March 4th will be the Billings Farm and Ranch Brokers meeting, and I will be the presenter. I'm going to give a present presentation on the Montana land market, a recap for 2020 and information heading into 2021. So be sure to check that out. We're meeting here in Billings at the Billings Association of Realtors office, but that meeting will also be available on Zoom. Check out https:mtlandsource.com for details on that meeting and Zoom links if you would like to attend.
Also in other news, there's an online action in northern Montana that is ending next week on March 1st. That's also on https:mtlandsource.com.
And finally, the dates for the annual Ag Lenders Range School has been announced. This is exciting because last year they had to cancel just like a lot of other people. It's a great activity to go out, it's hosted by a ranch this year in Terry, Montana. A lot of great learning about range, and range conditions, and ag. It's designed for bankers and lenders and appraisers and also real estate agents. Appraisers can get continuing edit credit, which is important this year because our annual event where we usually all get our credits has been canceled. Currently there aren't credits available for real estate agents. I think in the past there has been, and there's been a little discussion about whether to maybe bring that back. I would assume that if enough brokers expressed interest that might be able to happen. I would encourage you to reach out, that organization has its own board and you can find that information on https:mtlandsource.com. It's a great event, I enjoy it every year. It's a chance to get out. We usually camp out on the ranch. Great networking, great education. It's about the most cost effective and fun educational event you will ever do.
