"Hi everybody, happy new year. Happy 2021. Andy Rahn here with Montana Land Source with this week's video summary of the Montana Land Report for January 6, 2021. We put out the Montana Land Report every Wednesday, and highlight the market activity for the past week in the Montana land market.
In the last week we had 22 property updates:
• 2 new listings
• 5 price changes
• 6 pending sales, and
• 9 solds
This week was dominated quite a bit by some large ranches in eastern Montana and central Montana. There was one new large listing, the Allen Brothers Ranch north of Broadus listed by the sellers themselves. Three pending sales, the Bay Horse Creek Ranch southwest of Broadus listed by Mills Auction and Real Estate. And two pending sales listed by Bill Bahny and Associates, the Holtz Land and Cattle Company east of Ekalaka, and Sniper's Knob Wildlife Preserve south of Melstone. The one large acreage sale was the Deschland Ranch east of Lewistown listed by Hall and Hall. So quite a bit of large properties in eastern and central Montana.
In land news, we released a YouTube video of an interview I did with Joel Silverman, as part of the Montana Business Vlog. Joel asked me to be a guest on that program, and it's an in-depth interview of me essentially outlining the creation and development of Montana Land Source, and my path going from an appraisal business to developing Montana Land Source. Also, the 14th episode of the Ranch Investors podcast was released. A very dynamic podcast this week, we had Jess Peterson on and he is a very dynamic guest. So hold on your hats on that one.
