Owning a piece of heaven in the West is becoming increasingly popular, but unique issues arise when selling and purchasing agricultural assets in the West. Understanding these unique issues can help buyers, sellers, lenders, attorneys, and consultants to troubleshoot sales and purchases of agricultural assets.
We have carefully selected faculty to provide insight into those issues most commonly faced, including: public access, environmental issues, water rights, due diligence problems, financing, and succession planning. Anyone involved in buying and selling agricultural properties in the West will be well served to attend and catch up on the latest in selling or buying “a piece of heaven.”
