Once monthly, usually the first Thursday of each month, the Billings Farm & Ranch Brokers meet to network, hear presentations on topics relative to the rural Montana land market, and to share their new listings as well as to discuss properties they are looking for on behalf of buyers. The group is made up of land brokers, agents, and other rural real estate professionals. Non-members are welcome to attend.
We don't have a presenter for this month's meeting, but instead we will discuss regular business and some new proposals.
Secretary and Treasurer Andy Rahn would like to propose creating an additional officer position. Currently, the job of communications is part of the the Secretary/Treasurer position, and Andy would like to propose creating a Communications officer role separate from Secretary/Treasurer. Moving forward in 2021, he would like to be in that position, and find someone new to be Secretary/Treasurer.
Vice President Colter DeVries would like to propose we form a subcommittee for legislative liaisons.
The Montana Land Source map application will be projected on a large screen to highlight new property listings.
Meeting Location: Billings Association of Realtors office at 2021 Overland Avenue in Billings, MT 59102. Masks are required in the BAR office.
