CANCELED - Twice a year, the Billings Farm & Ranch Brokers and the Southwest Montana Farm & Ranch Brokers get together for a joint meeting at noon at the American Legion located at 110 Third Avenue in Big Timber, Montana. At these meetings, land brokers and other rural real estate industry professionals get together to network, hear presentations on a topics relative to the rural Montana land market, and share new listings as well as discuss properties they are looking for on behalf of buyers.
At this meeting, Montana State Auditor candidate Troy Downing will discuss what being State Auditor entails, and in particular he will speak about the role as Land Board Commissioner on the State Land Board. State trust lands are managed for the benefit of the common schools and the other endowed institutions in Montana, under the direction of the State Board of Land Commissioners, the "Land Board." The Board consists of Montana's five top elected officials.
Andy Rahn will attend and project the Montana Land Source map application on a large screen to highlight new property listings.
The meeting will begin with a free lunch catered by Bill’s Place Diner & Catering of Melville.
