The Montana Conservation Easement Conference for Financial, Legal and Real Estate Professionals will be held on Oct. 11, 2012 in Helena at the Red Lion Colonial Inn. Andrew Rahn is one of the presenters, and will be presenting on conservation easement appraisal. The conference agenda and presentations are specifically created for financial and legal professionals – real estate professionals, attorneys, title corporations, appraisers, financial consultants, estate attorneys, accountants and more. These professionals provide an array of legal, financial and tax recommendations to landowners, and a purpose of the conference is to show how conservation easements can – and in some cases cannot – fit into land management, financial, income tax and estate tax considerations.
